Perry Hockenberry started with hanging jerky on fishin’ hooks above the woodstove to experiment back in 1989. He then left some of his friends-family try, they had then told him it was the best jerky around. Perry decided to start making jerky for consumer availability in 1992. In 1996 was the completion of the USDA facility for Perry and his family to continue producing and packaging a quality product. Sheena and Brandon (children) have helped him ever since they were little to learn every step Perry did in the process. To this day we still take pride in our product and are working together as a family to make a fine quality product for our customers.
